Leticia Cotto was the branch manager of the Hartford Public Library Park Branch for 12 years. She surpasses her job description ensuring to connect families with the resources they need to succeed. Attesting to her dedication and connection among the community, she offered ESL and computer literacy classes for parents while their children took part in an after-school program. “Letty” organized the Affleck Street Community Garden and hosted art exhibits for the community. Alongside Ana Alfaro, Letty was also one among the group of community members who, for 30 years, fought for the construction of a new library on Park Street.
