This mural, which is on top of the "Pelican Tattoo" building is one of four works of public art commissioned by Real Art Ways for Hartford’s Parkville and Frog Hollow neighborhoods. It was created in 2009 as part of their Real Public initiative. It was made by Sofia Maldonado and uses painted wood as its medium.
