This mural was designed by Lindaluz Carrillo during the beginning of the pandemic. She was inspired by Puerto Rican culture and wanted to make a mural that they people in the community could resonate with. She words present on the mural translate to “Today I look towards to Future” and were meant to reflect the optimism present even during the turbulent times of the Covid-19 pandemic.
