Our Team

Matt Luyrink is a junior at Trinity College majoring in Public Policy and Law with a minor in Formal Organizations. He is passionate about engaging with the community and exploring how local governments shape meaningful policy decisions. His interest in the intersection of public policy and local government inspired him to take on this project as a way to connect with and positively impact his local community.

Nicole Ankrah is a junior at Trinity College pursuing a double major in American Studies and Human Rights. She has a deep passion for exploring history, with a particular focus in Black diasporic history, spirituality, and social justice. She is driven by the belief that understanding and engaging with history can inspire transformative change. Nicole hopes to integrate her academic pursuits and personal values to promote healing, equity, and justice in the world.

Katie Cook is a sophomore in the Transfer English Studies program at CT State Community College Capital. She is interested in the relationship between literature, rhetoric, and epistemology, and she believes that language is the most powerful tool we have to elicit social progress. This perspective fuels her passion for equity in historical preservation, which is vital for understanding and addressing the intricate legacy of racial injustice in contemporary society.

Anthony Lee is a student of Architecture and Accounting at CT State Community College Capital. He was unable to close out the semester with us, but we would be remiss if we did not recognize him for his collaborative spirit and outstanding contributions to our success as a project team.
