Ana Alfaro, known for her volunteerism, is involved in numerous organizations and non-profits including Catholic Charities, Forge City Works, Broad Park Development Corp., Immigrant Heritage Hall of Fame, and the Hartford Public Library. Ana, along with other community members, has been advocating for a Park Street library for 30 years. She has made the creation of the library possible as she has been heavily involved serving on the board of the library. She also produced and hosted "El Show de Analeh" which informs Latinx viewers, both in Frog Hollow and throughout the state, about current happenings. This show was in cooperation with Capital Community College which allowed students experience and job training in videography.
